St. George's Hill, Isolation Hospital
Ashby de la Zouch Sanitary Board built the six bed isolation hospital in 1884, to accommodate patients suffering from smallpox and other infectious diseases. It was sold in 1932 and is now a private house.

The census enumerator did not use house numbers, so it is difficult to be certain which 1911 census property relates to each modern day house. However, as the enumerator was working south to north along Main Street, the assumption has been made that the families were recorded in this order.

Ann Amelia Platts, manager in charge of hospital, plus two boys aged 6 and 7 who are patients.
