The cottages were built in 1909 so would have only been two years old at the time of the census.
The census enumerator visited Rose Cottage Farm in Limby Hall Lane before recording the details of the four Ivy Leigh Cottages. The house numbers were not recorded but it is reasonable to assume that the occupants were recorded working up the hill.
